@magicalsamurai2006 There’s always one! Well everyone makes mistakes, and he’s certainly not perfect. But he more than makes up for it, by being an inspiraiton to gay people and it helping create acceptance towards gay people. And in rugby of all sports! If this helps one gay kid come out and accept himself, then it’s worth it.

… don’t get me wrong. It’s great for him that he’s now able to live his life openly and has accepted himself; but I can’t get passed ‘good for him’ to seeing him as an individual of note to be applauded and praised.
Gareth Thomas NEVER ‘came out’… you just learned his name… anyone that had heard of him before (especially people from Wales) already knew he was gay, even when he was still married. His many affairs and time spent cruising local areas were common knowledge. It saddens me to see him get so much attention for doing something so poorly that a million other people do so impressively – people that come out with no support but with little to no regard for the fear they feel.
